GiveDirectly & Propel are teaming up again to provide no-strings-attached cash transfers to survivors of Hurricane Helene
Local governments in North Carolina located in areas impacted by Hurricane Helene can now apply for grants from the new Small Business Infrastructure Grant Program (SmBIZ), a $55 million dollar fund designed to rebuild the damaged infrastructure that small businesses rely on to operate and thrive.
This campaign is made possible thanks to financial support from the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, Dogwood Health Trust, and WNC Bridge Foundation.

How can I apply? Eligible households will be notified via the Propel app when funds are available. You must download the Propel app to apply.
There is no way to apply to this program outside of the app. We will not contact eligible families any other way. Please be aware of online, phone, and text scams claiming otherwise. Ignore any social media posts claiming to distribute these funds.
